McDonald's Sales Declined, Starved For Ideas

A month ago, McDonald announced that comparable in-store sales decreased 1.8% globally and 2.2% in the U.S. in October. It was the first time since 2003 that such sales declined.

It seems that lovers of unhealthy food, McDonald began to realize the disadvantages of eating those foods from McDonald and change to Burger King.

McDonald’s Starved for Ideas as Burger King Lures Diners and introduced Dollar Menu. Critics say pushing Dollar Menu items isn’t likely to turn around sales because it simply encourages people to spend less, rather than buy more, squeezing profit margins.

-       Instead of changing a menu they should change the attitude and have people that know what they are doing....service at most McDonald's is HORRIBLE!

Some TV media who supported Israel reported the news of 13 dead Palestinian as "died by mistake" which could make news sound better in western ears. 

How smart they are. Twisted and manipulated the words.

The worse part is, they reduce the number so that the viewer see is as " not a very big deal.

They reported 13 died but actually 24.

Seorang wanita Indonesia berusia 25 tahun mendakwa dipaksa melakukan hubungan seks secara bergilir-gilir oleh tiga anggota polis di sebuah balai di Bukit Mertajam selepas menahannya di kawasan perumahan.

 Tiga anggota polis yang didakwa digantung kerja sementara.

Ketua Polis Pulau Pinang, Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi berkata, pihaknya memandang serius kejadian berkenaan dan sudah menahan ketiga-tiga anggota polis tersebut.

“Setakat ini, kita sudah merekod 10 keterangan daripada saksi kejadian dan polis sedang menunggu laporan kimia dan laporan perubatan untuk mendakwa ketiga-tiga anggota itu di mahkamah. Sehingga kini, mereka ditahan kerja untuk siasatan dijalankan ke atas mereka.

“Setakat hari ini, 95 peratus siasatan telah dilakukan. Kita akan tunggu pihak Timbalan Pendakwa Raya mengeluarkan perintah untuk mendakwa ketiga-tiga anggota ini,” katanya pada media hari ini.

Menurut beliau, pihaknya tidak akan berkompromi dan akan menjalankan siasatan dengan telus walaupun melibatkan anggota polis.

“Kita sudah menubuhkan satu pasukan khas untuk mempercepatkan siasatan dan siasatan dilakukan mengikut prosedur yang ditetapkan. Jika dilihat dari tempoh tangkapan dibuat, kita menahan ketiga-tiga anggota berkenaan sehari selepas laporan dibuat mangsa.

“Kes ini disiasat di bawah Seksyen 376 Kanun Keseksaan yang memperuntukkan hukuman penjara tidak kurang lima tahun dan tidak lebih daripada 30 tahun dan sebatan jika disabit kesalahan. Kita mengharapkan agar tidak ada pihak yang membuat spekulasi yang boleh mengganggu hubungan diantara Malaysia dan Indonesia,” katanya.
